Hearing test in Nerja, in English
Turning the TV up more than you used to? Struggling to follow a conversation in a busy restaurant? Feel like people are mumbling? The first step is to find out how well you really hear. That's what our hearing test is for: calm, unhurried and with no obligation.
What happens at the test
- First, we listen. You tell us what you've noticed, when it's harder to hear and what worries you.
- Then the test. Wearing headphones, you let us know which sounds you can hear.
- We explain the results. In plain English, without jargon, with time for all your questions.
- We tell you the truth. If a hearing aid would help, you can try one for several days in your everyday life, with no pressure. If you don't need one, we'll tell you just as clearly.
How much does it cost?
A full hearing check-up costs €35. If you then take home a pair of trial hearing aids, your hearing test is free.
Do I need an appointment?
No. Walk-ins are welcome, Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 13:30. If you'd rather be sure you won't have to wait, call us on 951 38 44 54.
Who will see you
We're Yolanda and Pablo, a small family-run clinic with over 20 years of experience in hearing care. When you visit, you see us: no sales reps and no small print. We speak English and Spanish, so you can explain everything comfortably.
Coming from nearby towns
You'll find us at Calle Pintada 58, right in the centre of Nerja. We see people from Maro, Frigiliana, Torrox, Almuñécar and Torre del Mar, as the centre of Nerja is only a short drive or bus ride away. If a particular time suits you better, just call ahead and we'll be expecting you.
