Hearing aids and hearing tests near Torrox
If you live in Torrox, Torrox Costa or El Morche, you don't need to go all the way to Málaga to look after your hearing. We're about 15 minutes away by car, in the centre of Nerja, and we often see people from there.
Do I need my hearing checked?
Be honest with yourself about these three questions:
- Do you have the TV louder than everyone else at home?
- Do you struggle to follow a conversation in a bar or at a family lunch?
- Do you often have to ask people to repeat themselves?
If you said yes to two or more, a hearing test is worth it. It's free, it doesn't take long, and you leave knowing how well you really hear. If you don't need a hearing aid, we'll tell you just as plainly.

If your hearing aid came from abroad
Lots of people in Torrox Costa moved here from the UK, Germany and elsewhere, and some brought their hearing aid with them. That's fine: we check hearing aids of any brand, wherever they were bought. Bring it in and we'll tell you what's wrong with it. We speak English and Spanish.
Getting here from Torrox
- By car: about 15 minutes from Torrox Costa to the centre of Nerja, on the N-340 or the A-7 motorway.
- By bus: there is a bus between Torrox Costa and Nerja; from the stop, we're right in the town centre.
- Parking: there are public car parks in central Nerja. Give us a ring first and we'll tell you which one is closest.

Do I need an appointment?
No, walk-ins are welcome. But if you're coming from Torrox, we'd suggest calling or sending a WhatsApp first, so we're expecting you and you don't make the trip for nothing.
